Indian Village Has Maximum Twins

A village in Allahabad has most of the newborns as twins. In the past 50 years, as many as 108 twins have taken birth at Umri village in Dhoomanganj area of the Sangam city.

Surprisingly, the animals of this odd village are also giving birth to twins. Scientists and medical experts have failed to find reason behind this strange fact. In the recent past, several experts from Hyderabad, Delhi, Kolkata, Chennai and Mumbai visited the village, but failed to find anything.

Guddu, one of the twins of the village, said presently 16 of the pairs were identical. According to his grandfather, the village was full of twins 80 years ago. Notably, the village is planning to enter its name in Guiness Book of World Records.
